Dear Business Friends,

We are making plans for our 2011 celebration and we’re happy to announce that the Saturday festivities will return to Lovers Point Park. This year’s dates are July 27-31. The Board is working diligently to bring you and your family the best Feast possible. We are moving forward full speed ahead and hoping that with our enthusiasm, and your help, we can “FIRE UP THE FEAST”. It takes lots of money to bring our traditional celebration to our Pacific Grove family and friends. The Board of Directors has been totally responsible for raising those funds and it has become more and more difficult. It also takes lots of volunteers. WE NEED PARTNERS...WE NEED YOU.

We see the Feast of Lanterns bringing 4 benefits to our community:
1 – It helps keep the heritage of Pacific Grove alive and well.
2 – It gives scholarships to young women in our community.
3 – It brings our residents, friends and families together in fellowship.
4 – It benefits our business community which, in turn, benefits our city’s income.

I am happy to be working on the Feast of Lanterns board of directors as a liaison to the business community. I am hoping for your help to bring the Feast back to its original glory! Along with funding for events we need help with funding our scholarships and with year round operating costs (such as storage for sets and costumes, new costumes and costume repair, set repairs, printing costs, etc.). Business benefits from this wonderful community event! Sponsorships are available for several Feast of Lanterns events (see attached menu).

$500.00 Listing in Tabloid, 25% off Tabloid ad (through the Herald), name on traveling sponsor sign, mention at the pier on Saturday afternoon.

$1000.00 FIREWORKS SPONSOR! Listing in Tabloid, 25 % off Tabloid ad (through the Herald), name on traveling sponsor sign, mention at the pier on Saturday afternoon, participation in the sponsor’s walk Saturday Evening and 2 tickets for VIP seating for pageant at Lovers Point.
