Sponsorships and Donations

Planning is well under way for the 2007 Pacific Grove Feast of Lantern’s’ celebration, which will be held July 25 through July 29, 2007. Each year we must look to our community for the financial support that will enable us to carry-on the Festival’s 102-year old tradition. It is with pride that we find the community’s enthusiasm and support for the Feast of Lanterns grows stronger each year. We can, with your support, continue to celebrate our community’s history, traditions and culture. We invite you to become a part of this historic and festive event by joining our distinguished list of 2007 Sponsors and Donors. It is the support of our community’s members that make it possible to bring this piece of Americana to Pacific Grove each year. We have designed three Sponsorship Packages that offer a range of participation – and we trust one is right for you. The 2007 Sponsorship Package Summary details the benefits of Sponsorship. We have four Donor categories that also offer a range of participation – be recognized as a Feast of Lanterns patron in the local newspaper.

There are 2-ways for you to become a sponsor.


1. Contribute to our general fund in any one of the three categories – Topaz, Sapphire or Jade. The monies you contribute will fund our General Operations. Recognition is attributed in different forms for the different categories.

2. Underwrite one of our many events or projects; such as the Saturday afternoon children’s activities, the grand fireworks finale or the art competition. You and/or your company will be recognized as the Sponsor of this event in all our printed materials and at the actual event.

Make a Donation:

Your gift helps us organize and put on the Feast of Lanterns for the community of Pacific Grove.
There two ways to make a donation to the Feast of Lanterns:
1. Make monetary contributions to our General Fund by mailing your donation to the Feast of Lanterns or using your credit or debit card to make a donation using this website.

2. By contributing your professional services that the Feast of Lanterns would otherwise incur a cost (.e.g.: graphic design, printing, carpentary, etc). These Donors receive recognition in the local newspaper.

Donations Categories include:

• Monarchs - $250 and more
• Emperors and Empresses - $100 - $249
• Court Circle - $50 - $99
• Crown Bearers – under $50
 
 

Events and Projects Available for Sponsorship

It is through the generosity of the Feast of Lanterns' Sponsors that many of the Festival's expenses are paid. If you would prefer to underwrite a specific event or project, here is a list of those available for sponsorship. In addition to the special recognition you will be given at the event or project you select to underwrite, you will receive the benefits of the comparable Topaz, Sapphire or Jade sponsor package.

The Feast of Lanterns is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, with an all volunteer Board of Directors. The proceeds of the festival each year, minus operating expenses, fund an academic scholarship program for theRoyal Court, who are nine community spirited, active middle and high school students.
