Entertainment by the Monarch Handbells, Rockstar Dance Studio, the Hootenanny, the 2018 Royal Court and Royal Guard. Mayor Bill Kampe and Queen Topaz cut celebration cakes as we sing happy birthday to our beloved hometown. The Hootenanny will lead a hometown sing along as we celebrate the Feast of Lanterns and the Chautauqua Assembly.

This luncheon is a local restaurant showcase and features 20 different Pacific Grove restaurants. The Bridge Ministry assists in serving at the event. It is also an opportunity for the public to meet the 2018 Royal Court and Royal Guard.
6:00 - 9:00 pm at Chautauqua Hall in downtown Pacific Grove, CA.
Dance the night away with the Royal Court and Royal Guard! DJ Chris spins a hometown dance party for all ages. The event will open 30 minutes early (5:30 pm) for families that have kids with special needs so that they can meet the Royal Court and Royal Guard.

Join the Royal Court for a special story time at our local library.
1:00-4:00 pm – Pacific Grove Natural History Museum
Join the 2018 Feast of Lanterns for a Family Fun Day at the Pacific Grove Natural History Museum! Mingle with the 2018 Royal Court and create great memories with the whole family. Queen Topaz, Scholar Chang and the Princesses will be onsite to tell the legend of Blue Willow and paint children's faces. Local historian and 5th generation from the Pacific Grove Chinese Fishing Village, Gerry Low-Sabado, will join us to talk about her heritage and the Fishing Village. Free paper lantern crafts will be provided for a fun activity, and the Gem and Mineral Society will be showing examples of real gemstones.
This event is free for Monterey County residents and regular admission fees for visitors.
2:00 pm at Caledonia Park in downtown Pacific Grove, CA.
The parade starts at 2:30pm.
Dress up your favorite pet, stuffed or imaginary animal and join the Pet Parade. The 2018 Royal Court and Royal Guard distribute ribbons to participants. They lead the parade in the antique fire truck, followed by dressed up animals and their owners. Following the parade, the PG Recreation Department staff hands out ice cream treats.
3:00 - 5:00 pm at Pacific Grove Masonic Lodge
Join the 2018 Royal Court in celebrating decades of service by our beloved Queen Moms. A royal tea will be served, and all Royal Mothers are invited to attend, especially Queen Moms from the past. Royal mothers are anyone who has had their child serve on the Feast of Lanterns Royal Court and Royal Guard. The event will be catered by the Bridge Ministry. Tickets are $30 and are available to be purchased at Pacific Grove Travel 831-373-0631 and at the door of the event.
